# RWA: rapidly-growing category within Web3

The market for RWAs has seen rapid growth, with the market value surpassing $12 billion according to a recent Binance Research report \[1]. RWA tokenization, the process of converting tangible and intangible non-blockchain assets into digital tokens, is at the heart of this trend. By harnessing blockchain technology, RWA tokenization democratizes access to high-value and oftentimes illiquid opportunities like real estate, commodities, intellectual property, and more.

RWA on-chain will take a lot of assets to new levels by enabling substantially-improved liquidity, transparency, and capital efficiency—this is estimated to be a $3+ trillion market by 2030 \[2], and we are just scratching the surface.

Having composable fungible tokens unlocks countless possibilities for the ecosystem to build additional products and offerings around these building blocks—such as tokenized securities (e.g., Ondo), yield trading (e.g., Pendle), staking network (e.g., StakeStone), etc. Right now, across the Bitcoin ecosystem, we are noticing a potential gap that Prosper can fill in.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.prosper-fi.com/welcome-to-prosper/unique-opportunity/rwa-rapidly-growing-category-within-web3.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
