# Staking

Active participants are rewarded for their involvement in the protocol. By participating in governance and staking their PROS tokens, users are eligible to earn rewards. Rewards will be periodically distributed.

Via the web app, users will be able to easily access the following key functions:

1. **Stake:** choose an amount of PROS to stake
2. **Unstake:** choose an amount of PROS to unstake
3. **Rewards:** claim all rewards that have been distributed to the user
